Bio:
With a proven track record in senior leadership roles, I have driven talent and leadership development in large multinational organisations across industries, such as Manufacturing, Banking, and Entertainment. Beyond my corporate leadership experience, I now run my own business as the Founder & Managing Director of Made From Within, a CPD-accredited provider of leadership, team and personal development programmes. Through this, I design and deliver bespoke development solutions that help individuals and organisations build capability and drive performance.
Accredited as a Senior Practitioner Coach and Coaching Supervisor (Coach of Coaches) by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), I’m also a certified Professional Life Coach and an award-winning mentor.
I hold a Doctorate in Leadership Development from the University of Glasgow. I’m also the author of Leaders Made from Within: The Blueprint for Developing Leadership in Individuals and Organisations, a book that has earned expert endorsements and achieved global sales across Amazon’s marketplaces.
In addition to these credentials, I hold a Master’s in Psychology and the Neuroscience of Mental Health from King’s College London, the second-best institution in the world in this field. This deepens my understanding of human behaviour and the neuroscience of behavioural change. I was genuinely ready to pull the plug and let the employee go. They were competent but didn’t seem like the right cultural fit. Through coaching with Maria, I realised the real issue was my leadership approach. I was hesitant to give them honest feedback. Not only did the employee stay, but their role has expanded. This experience completely transformed how I lead my team.

I initially sought coaching to grow as a new leader, but the lessons I learned through coaching with Dr. Loumpourdi went far beyond my career. I’ve become much better at handling difficult conversations, even when emotions run high, not just at work but in my personal life too. It’s made a bigger difference than I expected.

Dr. Maria Loumpourdi designed and delivered a leadership programme consisting of six bespoke sessions, tailored specifically for over 400 leaders across our company’s offices over a three-year period. The impact has been remarkable: more than 95% of participants reported being able to apply their learning directly to their roles; over 90% of employees expressed satisfaction with their direct managers in our annual employee survey; employee turnover decreased by 15% year-on-year; and the company surpassed its financial targets. I highly recommend Dr. Loumpourdi’s programmes to any organisation seeking measurable and lasting leadership impact.
