Aaron has worked in technology and education since the start of his career. Originally studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics, he was always drawn towards the power of technology to create opportunity – economic, social or otherwise.
Aaron's first venture came immediately after graduation in 2013, launching Freely, a London-based digital agency. Freely partnered closely with established education institutions such as UEL, City University and Birkbeck, fast-paced technology startups such as Kahoot! and Lumeon, and global giants such as Legal & General, CNBC and Macmillan to develop digital products and growth strategies.
In 2016, Aaron launched Nyde, a B2B marketplace connecting the design industry with the world's most iconic furniture brands. Partnering with over 60 international suppliers and listing over 100,000 unique product designs, the marketplace eventually grew to attract 190,000 uniquely monthly visitors and became the interior design engine behind multi-million pound architecture projects throughout Europe.
Aaron returned to the education space in 2019 to continue pursuing his passion for democratising knowledge, joining Workshop, an edtech startup specialising in teaching hands-on skills. As Head of Growth, Aaron grew revenue by 1,236% in just over a year, all the while developing the infrastructure necessary for scale.
In recent years, Aaron has taught at both The Trampery and Ravensbourne University, discussing the crossover between growth, product and entrepreneurship.
